No. Poultry Ledger records on the farm PC, in Windows. Partners and shareholders can check the farm read-only on a phone in the partner view, at app.poultryledger.pk.

How the partner view works

No. Without one, the app works on the PC with no time limit. The code links the PC to your farm on our side. It works once, within 7 days, and the owner can enter it later on the This PC screen.

The owner can reset a manager’s or a worker’s password on the PC. There is no online reset, so keep the owner’s password written down somewhere safe.

Pick the shed on Today’s Log and press M for mortality, F for feed, W for weight or S for a sale. The flock is found for you, and its figures, the khata and the reports update on their own.

Ross 308 and Cobb 500, from the breeders’ 2022 tables, day 0 to day 56. Each flock is shown against the target for its breed and age. Any other breed can be typed in, but it has no target to compare with.

Death spikes and high first-week deaths, weight below the breed target or a sample due, feed running out or not logged, stock at its minimum, flocks at sale age, and counts that do not add up. Owners and managers also see overdue khata. No alert shows money.

See flock performance in the app

Feed used in kg divided by the weight the flock gained in kg. The gain is the weight of the birds in the shed plus the weight of the birds already sold, minus the chicks’ weight at placement. Dead birds are left out. The free FCR calculator on this site uses the same formula for a flock with no sales yet.

Yes. Price a sale per kg of live weight, per bird, or as one total. Sell on credit to a buyer, or as a Spot sale paid in full.

Enter the amount and the method: cash, bank, JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or cheque. Pick the dues it pays, or leave it and it pays the oldest due first.

Each buyer and supplier has a khata. Sales, purchases and payments go into it by themselves, and the balance is worked out from them. A payment pays off the charges you pick, or the oldest due first. Dues are aged 0–7, 8–30, 31–60 and 61+ days.

Yes. Make a challan from the sale, then print it or save it as a PDF. The buyer’s WhatsApp chat opens with the message written; you attach the PDF and press send. The right chat opens when the buyer has a Pakistani mobile number; otherwise you pick it.

Yes. Everything works offline on your PC. If the PC is linked, its cloud copy catches up when the internet is back.

Your records are kept on your farm PC, which saves a backup every day. If you link the PC with an Activation Code, a copy is also kept in the cloud, backed up every night. We never sell or share your records.

Read the privacy policy

It is kept, with who recorded it, and the owner can restore it. An entry is never changed in place; a correction removes the old entry and records a new one.

No. There are three roles: Owner, Manager and Worker. Workers record deaths, feed, weight and sales, but see no prices, balances or profit anywhere in the app.

Yes. Every day the app saves a backup copy on the farm PC and keeps the last 14. If you link the PC with an Activation Code, there is also a cloud copy on our servers, backed up every night. To restore a backup, message us on WhatsApp.

You don’t need to do anything. New versions download on their own and install the next time Poultry Ledger opens, never while you work. The This PC screen shows whether it is up to date.

Not today. Challans, statements, the flock report and profit and loss print or save as a PDF.

Yes, read-only, on their phone or a PC: today’s figures, every flock, the khata, sales and expenses. Ask us on WhatsApp to add them.

How the partner view works

A flock report with the settlement and the net in words; profit and loss for this month, last month, this cycle, this year or any dates; and closed flocks compared on livability, FCR, EPEF, cost per kg and profit per bird. The first two save as a PDF; all three print.
